Waiting for the Dust to Settle

What a week we've had!

Last Friday was the release of our first album, So Rises the Moon.  It was a wonderful experience for us.  We played some songs off our album, some new songs to be on future albums (hopefully), and one of our favorite covers, Sleepyhead by Passion Pit.  Gregory Paul and Shannon Stephens each played an incredible set.  It was an honor sharing the stage with them.  We really want to thank everyone who came out!  We were shocked at the support we received.  We also want to thank everyone who purchased our album.  We thought we printed plenty to last us a long time, but it looks like we're going to be printing more in the near future.

We also got our first radio play last night!  KAOS 89.3, the college station from Evergreen, played May 17th on their show last night.  This video essentially sums up how we felt: That Thing You Do.

Earlier in the week our first music video was released.  We had a few people help out that we'd like to thank:  Fred Sprinkle from Hands on Films and Brian Russell from Willowcraft Media for doing all of the filming, and of course, Carlton Eide ( http://www.linkedin.com/in/carltoneide ) for doing not only the editing, but also the recording of the actual song itself.  Go have a look at it here: Mr. Tinman

Shows in the future?
Well, we do have a few more shows scheduled.  First up is a Holiday Party put on by Bellingham's semi-pro football team, the Blitz.  It is on Thursday, December 2nd.  For more information, look on our Facebook page.  Our next show will be at The Fort's Christmas Party.  That should be a fun show with all of our friends.  We are currently being booked for shows in January, but nothing's finalized yet.

Again, thank you all for your support!  You are incredible.

Until next time...
