Rested and Ready for Action!

Hello friends!

We are pleased to announce the release of our live album, Live at the Old Foundry, this Tuesday, August 23rd!

To accompany the album release we will be playing in Portland, Tacoma, Bellingham, and ending with a Battle of the Bands in Ferndale.

Were doing things a little different with this album.  First off, it's free.  Yes, you read that right.  It will be available by donation and if you don't want to donate, just take one!  Each CD will be hand-drawn by one of the band members.  We will have it available for free download on both Bandcamp and Noisetrade.  We will make sure to get you those links once they're up and ready.

Also, the album release also begins a campaign we are launching to get us in the studio at the beginning of 2012.  If you haven't heard of Kickstarter yet, go check them out: Kickstarter.  What we are doing with this is asking you to help us create our album and get studio time by donating.  For each level of donation ($10, $20, $50, your life savings, etc.) there are different rewards like the album for free a week before it's released.  It is also possible to donate enough to get a private Lamppost show anywhere you want in the United States.  This campaign will be launched coinciding with the release of Live at the Old Foundry.  We now have our old EP and a live album, so it's time for a professionally done full-length album.

Lastly, we cannot explain how excited we are to be together once again!  It's been a long summer away from each other.  We will have new music for you if you can make it out to one of our shows.  Seriously, we are out-of-our-minds-pumped to be playing shows again.  We've saved up all our energy, so I'm sure our shows will be unlike any we've played yet.

Hope to see you this week!

Until next time,
LPR

PS, check out our ride: Magic Van.  And check out the rad organization that is letting us use it.  They do some great stuff for the Bellingham music scene.  Go here: Make.Shift
